Updates on heating oil delivery guidelines

There are some changes in the way suppliers will now deliver.

Our suppliers want to keep their staff and customers safe. To do this, there will be changes in the way our suppliers deliver heating oil. To make sure new government guidelines are adhered to and to help reduce Coronavirus impacting heating oil deliveries, important safety steps have been put in place.



Drivers will have no contact with customers

Our suppliers are taking precautions to reduce contact with customers, therefore our customers need to make sure that they leave access open for the drivers and stay indoors when the delivery is being completed. Customers must not approach the driver, if at any time the driver feels unsafe to continue with the delivery within the guidelines issued by the government your delivery may be stopped. It is important that social distancing practices are followed to ensure the safety of the delivery driver and our customers.

Deliveries may not get printed proof of delivery

Some suppliers may have provided customers with printed proof of delivery in the past. To reduce the chances of contact, our suppliers will not be posting a printed proof of delivery through letterboxes. A digital proof of delivery can be requested via our customer service enquiry form. Suppliers will also not be requesting signatures for deliveries. 


Through house deliveries maybe suspended

To protect both delivery drivers and customers, some in house deliveries may be suspended. This is to make sure our suppliers do not come in contact with customers or their household items.

How to contact us

As many of our staff and suppliers staff are adjusting to working from home, we will be restricting our phone service to prioritise our vulnerable customers and those who are unable to order online. This means we will not be handling routine general enquiries by phone. If you do need to contact us to enquire about an outstanding order, please do so via our online enquiry form and we will respond as soon as possible.
