BoilerJuice.com, the UK’s No 1 Heating Oil Website are seeking to recruit full and part time, enthusiastic, friendly Customer Service Advisors to join our busy Contact Centre team based at our offices in St Ives, Cambs.
Working as a customer service advisor, your duties will include receiving and processing Telephone orders, Transfers, Refunds and order queries from customers and responding to correspondence via email and Live Chat, communicating with our suppliers and internal departments, and accurate record keeping and complaint resolution.
The successful applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and to be a team player; possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills, demonstrate the ability to listen to customer objections, analyse problems and be able to manage multiple tasks.
Previous experience of a customer services role would be advantageous but not essential.
The hours of work will be flexible between 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 5.30pm weekends.
Location: Clare Hall, St Ives, Cambridgeshire
Salary - £7.50 and £8.50 per hour depending on working hours and experience.
Boilerjuice is a UK-based ecommerce energy site. We are looking for an eCRM Executive, reporting to our Head of CRM. You will be working with all the departmental teams within Boiler Juice.
Due to consistent growth we are looking for a dynamic & hardworking eCRM Executive who has the determination and skills to take us & our sister company, myboilerservice.com (‘MBS’), to the next level within our customer communications & channel marketing.
Although you may not have heard of BoilerJuice, we are an established company with a proven business model and a solid customer base. We are different from a lot of other ecommerce businesses because the logistics for delivering what we sell (domestic heating oil) are a bit more complicated than for many other products you can buy online!
We are investing for further growth, but this is not just scaling up to do more-of-the-same. We are also creating new products that combine Internet-of-Things with smart data analysis to change the way a market works. That means working on innovative ways of managing a competitive marketplace.
Whilst we’re excited about what we do, we like to think we’re relatively down-to-earth. We don’t have a big hierarchy, a special dress code, or a company song about heating oil.
For the 1.5 million UK homes who depend on oil for heating and hot water, Boilerjuice makes life easier. We help hundreds of thousands of them get a better price and a more convenient service by connecting them impartially with nearly all of the suppliers in the market.

Location – this role will be based in St Ives (near Huntingdon).
