The Dame Vera Lynn Trust supports babies and children under 5 years old with cerebral palsy and other motor learning difficulties and their families together at our school based in Sproughton, Ipswich.
We are a registered charity that receives no statutory funding therefore we rely on the generosity of the local community for our support.
It costs approximately £7500 per child per year to access our specialist services and they are all provided free of charge.
We help pre school children with disabilities reach their full potential, adopting a holistic approach, teaching the children to dress, eat, sit safely, and gain more independence using the principles of conductive education which awakens the child's senses.
The parents and carers are present during the specially planned sessions and play an active part in their child's learning. The school also teaches the parents and carers how to see the child before the disability and focus on what their child can do rather than can't do.
The school is a vital service for families in the area and we need to raise much needed awareness and funds to ensure we can continue to provide our services now and in the future.

BoilerJuice.com makes a donation to your community for every home heating oil order fulfilled when someone has selected your community group. We will donate 25p for every 100 litres of central heating oil that you order - so for a typical order of 1000 litres of home heating oil, that's a donation of £2.50. So, remember to tell your friends and family about the BoilerJuice.com community scheme for The Dame Vera Lynn Trust East Anglia. If you would like to register another community with BoilerJuice you can register here for FREE.
