im an oftec registered tech and i have to say that every one should have their boilers serviced once a year with the kit techs
carry now they can set up most boilers to run at least 90% efficient . I have just done a boiler which is 24 years old and when i left it was showing 93.4% efficient and i have the print out to prove it . I use a testo analiser which is calibrated every year and it is worth spending the extra 10 minutes to get a great result i get a kick out of fine tuning boilers to be as efficient as possible and im delighted when customers say to me “its used less oil this year” all the best to oil users everywhere
